I hope all of my blogger friends are having a wonderful start to this new year! We had a great time last night with some friends we haven't seen in a while, and went to their kid-friendly party with the little guy and his buddy in tow. The adults played Taboo while waiting for midnight to arrive, then after our New Year's toast, we headed upstairs and some of the adults joined the kids to play a few songs with the Rock Band game. Hubby played drums and rocked the house! It was so fun to bring in the new year with my whole family having a great time.
This morning we all slept in, then the boys made me and Hubby breakfast around noon. Now its on to making some lucky black eyed peas and chillin' at the hacienda for the rest of my day off. I'm sure I should be dwelling on making some resolutions to begin this new year with, but I'm choosing to procrastinate in that department right now. Maybe I'll work on that this evening...
