I've been reading a lot of posts (and hearing a lot of resolutions) about people wanting to get fit this year or to lose weight. Boy, do I have the book for you! Check out The Abs Diet book. If you click on the picture it will take you to the website that also promotes the book.
This isn't just a book about a fad diet. It's a book about a lifestyle change. Hubby and I learned so much from this book. It changed the way we shop for groceries and how we look at ingredient labels. For example, we no longer buy products with high-fructose corn syrup. Are you aware of just how bad that stuff is for you??? Try finding a loaf of white bread that doesn't have it in there, and let me know what you find. I bet you can't, unless you shop at Whole Foods every time you need bread.
That's just one example. There is so much more in the text that will help anyone interested in improving their health. There are exercises in there to follow if you want, recipes in there to make that are so quick and easy, and tons of educational information that food manufacturing companies really don't want you to know. Did you know that "belly fat" is the worst kind of fat to have? I hadn't really thought about it before this book, but guess what... belly fat is surrounding some of your vital organs. Got a fat booty? Not as big of a concern. Belly fat? You've got a ticking time bomb on your waist. Learn how to eat more protein so that your body's metabolism is working for you all day, whether you're exercising or not.
My recommendation for you this year is to give this book a look-see. It's an easy read and it's got a bit of humor in there to help you get through the stats. Check it out at your local library if you don't want to spend the money, but definitely check it out. It's sooo worth it!
