Happy New Year! Knitting and crocheting are off to a great start for me so far. It's hard to let myself not work on something these days. Instead of coming up with resolutions, I'm committing to the intention of keeping the creativity flowing as much as possible all year long.

Episode 68: December 2019
It's hard to believe we're almost to Christmas and the end of this year! I feel really behind the curve on decorating and shopping, but here's what I've been working on as I can:
- Kastellet Sweater - yoke is finished, I've separated for the sleeves and am into the stockinette section of the bodice
- Kelly's Easy Hat/Beanie - 2 x 2 rib using Noro Silk Garden purchased in Boston at Gather Here
- Wrapping Christmas gifts with fabric
- Sewing kit for my niece Georgia
- Kitchen Christmas Tree with Salt Dough and Felt Strip Ornaments
- Quilts for Cara & Chloe
- Hostess gift idea - bottle of wine with holiday kitchen towel
- Selling on eBay
I'd like to thank Kelly of The Two Ewes Fiber Adventures Podcast for the sweet iTunes review she left after the November episode! Thank you also to everyone who's reached out through Ravelry, Instagram and Facebook welcoming me back to podcasting. I feel very loved : )
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all! Until we meet again in 2020, keep those hands stitchin'!

Episode 67: November 2019
Welcome back readers and listeners! What can I say other than I've missed everyone and I'm ready to give podcasting another go. I've given the Shorty's Sutures Podcast a lot of thought over the past several months and I'm excited to launch this newest episode. A lot has happened in the past two years!
I'm planning on simplifying things by not worrying about episode categories, titles, seques with music and the like. I'm hoping it will feel just like having a regular conversation with me.
Currently working on:
- Kastellet Sweater
- Potholders for Christmas Gifts
- Quilts for Nieces Cara & Chloe (the Princess Crown Blocks are made from instructions by Dana Bolyard from Old Red Barn Co and her Imagine Quilts book. The Gemology Block was free when I found it years ago but can be purchased here.)

Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm going to do my best to eat Paleo-friendly desserts, but a pumpkin or pecan pie may make its way into my belly. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish or treat? Are you for or against decorating early for Christmas and do you have any holiday stitching plans?
I'd love to hear what you're doing to keep your hands stitchin'! Thanks so much for listening ❤️
